Lamingtons Recipe

Lamingtons Recipe:






1 1/2 cups (195 grams) all-purpose flour
1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 cup (113 grams) unsalted butter, at room temperature
1 cup (200 grams) granulated white sugar
2 large eggs, at room temperature
1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup (120 ml) milk, at room temperature
Chocolate Frosting:
4 cups (1 pound) (450 grams) confectioners' (powdered or icing) sugar, sifted
1/3 cup (35 grams) unsweetened natural or Dutch processed cocoa powder
3 tablespoons (42 grams) unsalted butter, cut into small pieces
1/2 cup (120 ml) milk, at room temperature
Coating:
2 1/2 cups (175 gramsl)
